Luca
Luca is currently majoring in Pure and Applied Mathematics at Concordia University, with a keen interest in exploring Topology and conducting research to understand more about the history of mathematics and how it helps explain natural phenomena.
Let’s take a deeper dive
Luca graduated from the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at LaSalle Community Comprehensive High School (LCCHS) and later completed CEGEP in the Social Science with Math program. During high school, he completed 45 hours of community service and created a sustainable and affordable architectural model for his Secondary 5 Personal Project.
Why Luca?
With a few years of tutoring experience—mainly at JC Academy and Star Tutoring—Luca takes pride in helping students connect their in-class learning with their existing knowledge. His approach focuses on building student confidence by encouraging them to work independently after explaining concepts once or twice.
In his free time, Luca enjoys snowboarding in the winter and hiking in warmer weather, as he's always loved being in the mountains. He also shares his adventures with his dog, Gia.
